Were located about two miles soughwest of where Louis and Clark camped ,at Hat Rock, on their journey down the Columbian River and 12 miles noth of the Oregon Trail on the dry side of Ore.
We moved to the ranch about seventeen years ago with Reg. Appaloosa horses and Border Collies. The horses are generations of great dispositions, versitility, bloodlines and GOD's gift of color.
In 2003 the first Mini Aussie "TiRee" came to live with us. A year later came "Southern Cross Jim Beau" a beautiful red merle, with big blue eyes! Their first litter produced a couple of Toy Aussies, and yup I was hooked!
Short Tails Miss Gidget, our first Toy joined the family in 05 and in 06 Southern Cross Klassic Pickle became our Toy Boy. In June this year Pickles earned his International Champion Title.
Every one enjoys climing the hill, over to the creek for a swim in the summer or playing in the snow in the winter. The pastures are great for working with the horses or just an out and out race for the house.
